Selling Ads for the Program
Coordinating and selling advertisements for inclusion in the annual Souvenir Program. These ads fund both the program's production and the broader scholarship mission of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo®.
Soliciting Donations
Encouraging individuals and businesses to make direct financial contributions in support of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo®'s mission. Donations help expand our impact beyond ad sales, funding scholarships, youth programs, and agricultural education.
Program Sales
Organizing and executing the sale of Souvenir Programs during Rodeo events, including scheduling volunteers, assisting FFA and 4-H students, and driving sales to further HLSR's charitable mission.

WE DON'T WORK DURING RODEO!
*The exception is the Distribution subcommittee — a rewarding experience open only to Veterans on the committee.
Badging requirements
Simple steps to joining SPC
Become an HLSR member
Log onto RODEOHOUSTON.com and create your profile. Select Souvenir Program from the committee drop-down and pay your Rodeo membership dues ASAP ($50).
Get accepted onto the committee
Acceptance takes 1–7 days — patience is a virtue. You'll receive an automated welcome email, then pay your committee dues ($70) via RODEOHOUSTON.com.
